Global Voices for Rights and Refuge

RESEARCH GROUP

three.jpg

The network aims to create a space for shared thinking, dialogue and collaboration across disciplines, practices, and lived experiences. We are interested in how displacement and migration are understood, represented and experienced, and how ideas of otherness are produced, challenged and reimagined across cultural, social, political, and creative contexts.

This group is intended to be exploratory and supportive rather than prescriptive. It will offer opportunities to share research-in-progress, creative practice, pedagogical approaches and potential funding or partnership ideas, as well as to connect with others working in related areas. We welcome UoG academics, researchers, artists, practitioners, and students whose work or interests engage with these themes, whether directly or tangentially.

No prior commitment is required beyond curiosity and a willingness to take part in open, respectful exchange.

If you would like to be involved, or would like more information, please get in touch (see contact details below). We would be very happy to include you in the conversation.
